  • Finally at SFO, only 11 hours late. #
  • Bags didn’t make flight. Better here and bagless than with bags on TUESDAY, which is what we’d have gotten if we’d been 5 minutes later. #
  • The rental car is expensive, weird, and full of cigarette smoke. #
  • @AS_King Just saw your note — thanks for the thoughts! At least we got on a plane. That’s more than most people can say. #
  • Back in the CA groove: takin’ the car for a wash. #

  • Sunday morning is the best time to go to an airport. #
  • Neat–already an hour on the Tarmac, no takeoff time in sight. #
  • Why yes, I am flying JetBlue out of JFK, why do you ask? #
  • JetBlue’s TV is the only thing keeping us from rioting. Yay for hypnosis. #
  • We may not go home today. #
  • Am losing will to live. There are no spaces back at the gate for us. #

  • You know, with a little coaching, that Patti LuPone chick might have a career ahead of her. #
  • The waiter hadn’t heard of a Mai Tai, so he asked. The bartender laughed. The drink I got was 12oz of alcohol, so he didn’t know either. #
  • My review of Payard: noch ein mal, bitte. (hic) Wow, that was GOOD. #
