  • @MonkeySmash I can't figure out if that means "how much for us to make it" or "price for consumer." in reply to MonkeySmash #
  • Why on Earth is Thorne Smith's "Night Life of the Gods" not available anywhere? New edition, please! #
  • Of course, seconds later, a difference search on Amazon shows it's available for Kindle. Stupid spacing error….grrr. #
  • @Euroky I think it's FUN. Haven't done any work on it (like writing), so I can't speak to that. I want to read, but kids keep taking it. in reply to Euroky #

  • @pookster Scriv will NOT be on iPad! But easy export of .epub files+leisurely reading on iPad=WIN. in reply to pookster #
  • @pookster Yeah, now you can export as a text file, open in Sigil, save as .epub, open in Stanza/iBooks. I don't use Calibre at al. in reply to pookster #
  • @pookster Dunno about Calibre. Word docs you should be able to open in Pages, I think. (Or there are other reader apps, I'm sure.) in reply to pookster #
  • @gruber Don't worry. It won't be *enough* multitasking. Or multitasking the way they want it to be. Or whatever. in reply to gruber #
  • @dkottke Missed it! Happy birthday! in reply to dkottke #

  • @pookster Oh yes, it's there, with Winnie the Pooh as it's default book. in reply to pookster #
  • @pookster I dunno, honestly. They did a good job on the layout, but I haven't read a whole book yet. in reply to pookster #
  • @pookster I have no idea–most reports say the stores have lots and they're at Best Buy too. in reply to pookster #
