Commonly confused words

Posted on March 1, 2005 Written by Diane

Via Julia, I went to the Commonly Confused Words Test. I scored ‘You scored 93% Beginner, 93% Intermediate, 93% Advanced, and 83% Expert!” Apparently 100% of people in my age category scored lower than I did. (Just like Julia, in fact!)

93% beginner, 93% Intermediate, 93% Advanced and 66% expert. 100% of people in my age group scored lower than I did.

People 55-59 score highest on the test. Does that say something about our education system? If it does, it’s been declining for a lot longer than most people think.
