Yikes. I never knew I had a “refined palate.” Funny I just heard on the radio that some restaurants are now carrying pedigreed chocolate, much like wine that costs hundreds of dollars.

I certainly hope Scharffen-Berger doesn’t change its formula and become chocolate for the masses!

I just heard this news and am so disappointed. I was such a strong Scharffen Berger supporter, now, of all places, HERSHEY’S! Part of the draw with Scharffen-Berber chocolate is they’re a small business devoted to QUALITY, not corporate money hungry big wigs that just want to sell, sell, sell. I’m hoping Hershey’s is smarter than I give them credit for and doesn’t change the Scharffen Berger recipe.
