All day I’ve been living the line from Raiders of the Lost Ark: “Again we see there is nothing you can possess which I cannot take away.” Is there any cure for this behavior between kids short of a dozen years passing and military school?

    Not while they’re toddlers, no. 😉 I’m about to produce one of my own (baby, that is) and I do not look forward with anticipatory joy to the day my daughter learns the word “Mine.” eek!

    And, apropos of nothing in particular to do with this entry — YAY!!!!! You’re back! (I know, I’m late to the party.) NKA was the first online journal I’ve ever read. I’ve missed reading you.
