Thanks for the comment E Jaquet, Cally is my grandmother I still miss the homemade ice cream and you don’t find soft served like it anywhere! I have since bought my own ice cream maker as well and plan to attempt the peanut butter ice cream!

Great overview of the Curly Girl method. I only disagree with 1 thing and that’s around silicones. My rinsing conditioner has it and my hair loves it. I also retain moisture for days on end no problem. I seal my hair after the final rinse with an oil and it stays moist. Silicones have never been an issue for my hair.

I also use shampoo. Yes! Only sulfate free though…Shea Moisture shampoos. Thats it. I guess I follow the Tightly Curly method more than the Curly Girl method.

I’m so glad to read about your psoriasis having cleared. I just discovered CurlyGirl and started applying the method. I was wondering if it might help my scalp issues too – I hear you on the zink schampoos, prescription solutions, etc. Can’t wait to see the full effects on my waves and scalp! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for telling it like it is. Funny, and informative. I will try the one tablespoon to 6oz water formula. Do you have any preference on brand of beans, such as Illy?
My coffee shop uses them (espresso beans) to make their regular drip coffee and it is excellent.

Now where can I get a great coffee milkshake?

It is unfortunate that the most famous authors behaving badly who come to mind are female. Though neither gender is always well-behaved. Read about Phillip “Big Dog” Jones, a self-published author. He kept threatening to sue a reviewer over her negative reviews. (Reviews which do the books justice, according to my opinion.)

I reread it now that you are published. I still like it! It’s great to have so many loose ends to work with in the next book. I think that Hawaii, New Orleans and Alaska could be interesting parts of the next one.
