some pix
in lieu of writing

In lieu of actually writing anything (not my favorite activity at the moment, despite how much better the amoxicillin has made me feel), here are some pictures from my recent travels, plus a bonus pic!

(This is pretty much it for the photos I took during my 10-day holiday. No, I'm not big on photos, though I suspect that will be changing soon.)

Here is a candid photo of Pamie on-stage:

And here is what you get if Pamie knows you're going to take her picture:

Here are Toni, Pamie, Pooks, and Jette, out at the Velveeta Room for a night of nonsense:

Here is the lunch group on the last day. From left to right: Ruth (who doesn't much like having her picture taken but is really cute nonetheless), Holly, Toni, moi, Jette, Greg, Christian, and Pooks.

And here are Kymm, Tracing, and Diane, hanging out at the carrousel in Central Park and scaring a few kiddies:

And the bonus pic: a really cute recent web photo of my niece!

The answer to Thursday's question: Megawati Sukarnoputri is the daughter of Indonesia's founding leader, Sukarno (not to be confused with recently deposed Indonesian dictator Suharto). Ms. Megawati is said to be more democratically-oriented than her father.
